Main Duties & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have responsibility for creating exceptional dining experiences throughout the resort through the creation and development of concepts, menus, design and revenue generating opportunities. The Vice President will manage budgets and develop comprehensive strategies to support the organization¿s business goals. He/she will devise initiatives, formulate policies and direct the operations in collaboration with the executive leadership team. He/she will negotiate and manage relationships, external food and beverage service providers provide direction and leadership to the management of joint venture partnerships and ensure profitability and growth. He/she will create a strong management team to develop and manage the food and beverage team of approximately 3000 employees with strong union representation.

Requirements

¿ A minimum of 10 years at the executive level in a high volume broad scope food and beverage Casino or Resort environment
¿ Highly developed strategic and analytical capabilities
International experience preferred
Strong interpersonal skills and organizational skills
Ability to work in a dynamic and intense environment
Experience in working in a union environment and will have excellent ability to negotiate and collaborate effectively
A proven track record of strong leadership skills, sound business judgment, flexibility and building teams
Strong financial acumen with a high propensity for successfully driving revenuesAbility to be resourceful and to work under aggressive timelines
A good working knowledge of food and beverage applications software systems and the ability to drive process improvement initiatives
