Responsibilities

• Facilitate interaction program by providing a brief presentation and demonstration on how to feed stingrays
• Assist guests with feeding of stingrays
• Feeding and training of stingrays and assorted marine fish
• General maintenance of program equipment
• Checking in guests at the Stingray Hut and assisting with walk-up sales receipts
• Providing guests information and description of the program
• Cleaning, sanitizing and organizing all snorkel equipment
• Provide instruction and safety information to guests in the operation of snorkel equipment.
• Making guest’s feel comfortable with aquatic marine animals
• Maintain cleanliness of island beach facilities – includes picking of trash and seaweed from the beach, cleaning division nets in the water, straightening and cleaning of beach chairs and lounges
• Preparation of animal diets- includes handling seafood
• Provide assistance in cleaning and maintaining a flow through fish holding facility
