This position is responsible for providing support to the development, planning, coordination and ongoing management of life cycle activities for the BTC Fixed Line and Broadband/FTTH product lines, including revenue profitability, and the development of segmented or periodic offerings for the referenced product lines.

Accountabilities

– Plan and Develop the overall Fixed Line and Broadband product strategy

– Develop and Execute the Fixed Line and Broadband/FTTH product roadmap

– Accountable for the day to day execution, implementation and management of Fixed Line and Broadband products and services

– Hands on management approach for the continued growth and development of the Fixed Line and product line throughout the Bahamas

– Develop and maintain key relationships throughout the business to ensure a smooth and effective line of communication to drive product revenue and growth

-Deliver the multi-million dollar Fixed Line and Broadband and drive great customer satisfaction

Stakeholders: Retail Operations, Sales, Engineering, IT, Project Management, Brands, Comm’s and PR

Role Requirements
Main Responsibilities/Activities

General management responsibility for Fixed Line and Broadband/FTTH products and services

Ownership of Fixed Line and Broadband/FTTH product initiative roadmap to include the creation, implementation and management of products

Develop Fixed Line and Broadband/FTTH product strategy

Develops and maintains the right strategic portfolio of Fixed Line and Broadband/FTTH products and services which increases the Fixed Line and Broadband/FTTH customer base and drives value to end users

Ensures the right portfolio of products is envisioned, developed and available to our Fixed Line and Broadband/FTTH customers and is continuously improved

Maintains a detailed understanding of our competitors and the market in order to ensure we are developing, and innovating, including the latest technologies where appropriate

Track, report and achieve Fixed Line and Broadband/FTTH revenue targets

Work closely with Business Intelligence to understand market situation, trends, customer needs and opportunities for growth and expanded distribution

Monitor market trends and evaluate new solutions and technologies for Fixed Line and Broadband/FTTH services

Develop business plans and proposition proposals related to the Fixed Line and Broadband/FTTH product portfolio

Leads the products development activities related to Fixed Line and Broadband/FTTH products, to ensure timely development and implementation of product initiatives and consistent product documentation

Other Functions:

1. To contribute to the wider management team and play a key role in developing cross business unit communication and co-operation

2. To actively input to the future strategic direction of the business and key growth areas

3. Identify additional business and value add initiatives that can actively help drive the revenue stream and increase the external visibility of the business

Educational Qualifications

Minimum of Bachelors Level Degree in Business, Marketing or Management.

Technical Skills

1. Experienced within marketing methodology

2. Ability to work with internal and external partners from various disciplines at all levels

3. Ability to develop and review financial models

4. Practical process development and organizational skills.

5. Advance command of Microsoft suite of Office products including Microsoft Project

6. Experienced in Go To Market and TTM process

7. Experienced in pricing methodology and industry best practice including conjoint analysis

Experience

1. Minimum of five years in a commercial role within the telecoms industry; minimum of three years in leadership capacity.

2. Experience in the Telecommunications, Internet, or Entertainment fields a plus
