Baha Mar Casino’s Slot Attendant will work together with the Slot Supervisor and is responsible for accurately and efficiently correcting minor machine malfunctions, processing fills and jackpots, and enhancing the guests’ gaming experience.

Description of Responsibilities

The Baha Mar Casino’s Slot Attendant will be responsible for accurately and efficiently correcting minor machine malfunctions, processing fills and jackpots, and enhancing the guests’ gaming experience. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Accept responsibility for a zone or section on the casino floor and monitor slot players and slot games in that area
• Keep Supervisors apprised of any unusual circumstances or situations
• Identify jackpot and fill locations
• Maintain complete knowledge of use and maintenance of casino equipment
• Be knowledgeable of the Player’s Club and player tracking system
• Be knowledgeable of the basic functions of slot machines
• Respond to and open tilted slot machines to determine if maintenance or a fill is required
• Complete minor maintenance on slot machines
• Complete maintenance write-up for slot machines that require a Slot Technician
• Complete the Machine Entry Access Log (MEAL) book every time a slot machine is opened
• Print fill tickets and process with appropriate signatures
• Fill machines as required
• Respond to slot machines with jackpots and determine if jackpot is valid
• Calculate jackpot amounts for jackpots not registering on the slot management system
• Process manual jackpot and fill tickets when slot management system is not functioning
• Print jackpot tickets and processes with appropriate signatures
• Adhere to regulation currency transaction reporting requirements
• Use excellent cash handling skills to pay jackpot winnings to the customer
• On occasion, act as verifier for peer’s jackpots or fills
• Have an understanding of all slot cashier buy, fill, credit, and even money exchange procedures
• Maintain bank to allow for hand pays and pouch pays; reconcile bank
• Handle any customer disputes about short payouts or machine malfunctions, including completion of the paperwork
• Focus on game protection and identify potential thieves
• Maintain cleanliness of casino floor
