JOB DESCRIPTION: Dining Room Server

Duties

1. Greet customers as they arrive at the restaurant and inquire into their seating preferences
2. Answer questions regarding menu items and ingredients
3. Serve orders by picking up and delivering patrons’ choices from bar and kitchen
4. Respond to additional patron requirements by inquiring of needs; observing dining process.
5. Maintain table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to patron spills or other special needs.
6. Obtain revenues by totaling charges; issuing bill; inputting payment into POS system or delivering bill and payment to Bar or Front Desk
7. Fill in for absent staff as needed
8. Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently
9. Promptly address customer service issues and refer customers to management when necessary
10. Contributes to team effort by performing all other duties as required
