POSITION SUMMARY
* Provide a presence of authority at the hospital and its satellite offices
* Ensure the protection of life, property, information, and the institution’s reputation
*Investigate incidents in a timely manner and write detailed reports when incidents occur
*Ability to solve problems that fall within security parameters
*Conduct patrols of the hospital and any satellite offices
*Interact with internal and external customers in a professional manner
*Act as a deterrent to crime; observe and demonstrate a keen sense of awareness/alertness at all times
*Respond to all emergency situations at the facility
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
*High energy and excellent physical condition
*Ability to solve problems independently
*Strong communication (written and verbal) and excellent interpersonal skills
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION
*High school diploma & at least two BGCSEs
*3 years or more work experience in the security field
*Proficiency with MS Office Suite
