Mobile Marketing Manager

Job Description

The primary objective of this role will be to support and facilitate the development and implementation of fit-for-purpose consumer mobile marketing plans.

Accountabilities:

Develop all areas of products management in relation to voice and data
Define the data product strategy and roadmap
Define product life cycle management process in collaboration with VP of Mobile
Define voice product and pricing road map to meet the voice revenue and EBIDTA targets

Main Responsibilities / Activities

Creatively exploits opportunities to translate the Company’s mobile commercial objectives and strategies to develop brand portfolio objectives, strategies and plans to facilitate continuous growth
Assess and cultivate long-term strategic goals for Mobile Advertising development in conjunction with end users, managers, clients, and other stakeholders. End to end management of product launch and ensure that all departments are streamlined to deliver objectives
Continuously plans and allocates resources to drive different elements of the marketing mix while staying within budget
Works collaboratively with the Commercial Team and other key stakeholders related to the development of new products
Continuously identifies psychographics of market segments; determines size of segments and relative profitability for mobile phone penetration and develops approaches to capitalize / exploit opportunities to develop mobile brand portfolio objectives and facilitate continuous growth
Negotiates with media agents to secure agreements for translation of materials into other media

Other Functions:

Undertake any other duties that may be reasonably required

Educational Qualifications Skills:

Minimum of Bachelors Level Degree Marketing or Business and at least 5 years’ experience in brand management

Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent report writing skills
Very strong interpersonal and communication skills
The ability to organize, manage and track budgets
Ability to prepare and present high-level power point presentations

Experience:

Experience in brand management, equity building, campaign development in a Fast Moving Commercial Goods (FMCG) Organization
Knowledge of international brands or overseas work experience
Knowledge of key local media owners/editors
Experience in and with the mobile telecommunications sector would be considered a valuable asset.
