SCOPE OF DUTIES

1. Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
2. Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as making beds, sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing
3. Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks
4. Clean corridors, lobbies, stairways, elevators and lounges as well as guest rooms
5. Restock room supplies such as drinking glasses, soaps, shampoos etc.
6. Inspect and turn mattresses regularly
7. Check all appliances in rooms are in working order
8. Realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout
9. Ensure confidentiality and security of guest rooms
10. Respond to guest queries and requests
11. Follow all company safety and security procedures
12. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards
13. Observe and report damage of hotel property
14. All other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Minimum of one year previous experience in housekeeping
2. Must be mature and professional individual who excels at internal and external customer service
3. Willingness to relocate to small island for work
