Doctors Hospital Nassau Bahamas is looking for a DIETARY SUPERVISOR to join our talented team. 

POSITION SUMMARY

• Supervises and prepares all hot and cold entrees and some baked goods for patients, Associates, visitors and other customers.
• Modifies food preparation or texture for special diets.
• Assembles patient meal trays, serves food to cafeteria customers and prepares catering orders for various areas within the hospital complex.
• Requisitions foodservice supplies, pulls supplies from freezer and refrigerator daily.
• Purchases and receives supplies from vendors within cost and profit objectives and logs inventory removed from the storeroom.
• Logs all meals served and charges to the different areas.
• Labels, portions and rotates food items as required.
• Supervises and participates in sanitation of the kitchen by cleaning stove, grill, fryer, oven, walk-in refrigerator, freezer and small food preparation equipment.
• Completes other duties as assigned by the Coordinator.
• Communicates with key personnel about department issues.
• Monitors Associates’ work schedules and cleaning duties.
• Supervises and implements plans for continuous quality improvement.
• Ensures that the shifts are properly covered.
• Participates in the development and implementation of standardized recipes.
