Royal Island is a private 400-acre island just a short boat ride off the coast of North Eleuthera and Spanish Wells. We are preparing to reopen our rental operation to provide guests with a spectacular and authentic Bahamian experience. We currently have 5 villas and a beach club consisting of a restaurant, game center, spa and treatment facility and a pool. We are looking for the right people to join our team to facilitate these efforts.

Job Description
1. This Candidate will develop and execute a delicious menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as snacks and other receptions.
2. They will have an appreciation for the flavors of the Caribbean.
3. They will be able to lead a kitchen with professionalism and resolve.
This individual will have experience in the culinary arts. They will be familiar with the local ingredients and flavors unique to the region. They will have a sophisticated palate, tested technique and the ability to execute fine cuisine. He or she must also be flexible and accommodate dietary constraints and food allergies. They are proficient and possess effective time management skills.

The schedule during the island rentals will be demanding on the chef. Therefore, we will provide private accommodation while guest visitations are in progress as well as daily transports back to the neighboring islands. Royal Island will provide the tools, support and ingredients. We will also pay for travel if necessary.
This role will begin as Part Time but may quickly develop into a Full Time residency. We pay at a competitive rate based on experience.
